The Handy THTPA40 plug aerator can be towed behind a lawn or garden tractor removing five 8″ (1.58 cm) diameter soil plugs from the lawn. This allows compacted soil to loosen up which lets in moisture and nutrients for healthier root growth.

The THTPA40 has a 40” (102 cm) working width with utilising 24 hollow core tines. The tines are best suited to easily compacted soil such as clay and can penetrate the soil up to 3” in depth. The steel construction sits on 10″ pneumatic tyres for a smoother ride.
