Mountfield 1543H-SD Side Discharge Petrol Garden Tractor

The Mountfield 1543H-SD is recommended for managing areas up to 6500 sqm in size with it’s 108 cm cutting deck and powerful petrol engine. In taller growth areas the side discharge mode is designed to neatly cut and spread the grass so it can be left to wilt naturally. This makes the Mountfield 1543H-SD an ideal solution for those who don’t need or don’t want to collect the grass. The Stiga ST450 engine provides consistent power and performance backed by a Mountfield 5 year warranty* for domestic users. For areas that are being cut on a more regular basis a mulching plug is included, which will cut the grass into tiny particles that are blown back onto the ground where they disappear into the turf, returning valuable nutrients to the soil. The hydrostatic transmission is similar in many ways to the gearbox on an automatic car, forward and reverse speeds are infinitely variable. To move forward you simply press the forward pedal and the more firmly you press the faster you will go. For reverse press the reverse pedal, you can change from forward to reverse instantly so manoeuvrability is fantastic.

The Mountfield 1543H-SD is fitted with a 108cm/42.5″ width cutting deck with a side discharge chute. The cutting heights on the deck are easily adjusted into 7 settings from 25 – 80mm. For added versatility a towing hitch is also included. You can then use the mower to tow attachments including trailers and leaf sweepers.
