Using fresh petrol in your Honda engine is a must as fuel can begin to go stale within 4 – 6 weeks. Stale petrol will affect the engines performance & how it runs. ultimately stopping it completely. Try to only buy as much fuel as you need and don’t store big quantities. The alternative is to mix your fresh petrol with a fuel additive which can keep it fresh for up to 3 years. These additives will only work on fresh petrol as it is added to the tank. it will not revive stale fuel.
